Choir is bipolar.
I'm not even kidding when I say that. Choir has been my safe haven for years, but it's also the center of drama. A LOT of drama.
See, when I talk about choir being a huge but tight knit family, it also has its downsides, LIKE there are some prima donnas who think they have the best voice out of everyone, and that they deserve all of the solos because of it.
I'm really sad to say, but as the time goes by, more and more people have stopped being humble, and are willing to cut eachother's throats to get to the top. I, for one, have seen it happen, and I hate being part of an environment where people are so rude like that.
Don't get me wrong, I love choir and all, but...I wish people would just accept other people's talents and stop being out for theirselves.
Band doesn't have as much drama as choir, I suppose, but you could write novels on all the stuff between Tag and Lizzie. Not even kidding. Knowing their story, and listening to the song that Lizzie wrote for piano (based on Tag)especially when she plays it and a tear or two trickle down her cheek, I myself even get a little teary eyed. But I'm glad Band doesn't have THAT much drama. OH WAIT IT DOES. There's Ryan Abbot and I, Brad and I, Graham and Sarah, Kelly and Jack, SARAH and Jack, Brent and Lizzie, Tag and Lizzie, Tag and Rae, Alan and Shelley, Lilly and Colton, and now Eric and I, all that good (by good I mean horribly dramatic and in some cases heartwrenching) stuff. Ooooh yeah. I guess there is drana... Ah, band and choir. I think we can agree that Band and Choir both have their fair share of drama.
ReplyDeleteXDDD...Oh, guess what? On Thursday, I experienced the epitome of parents degrading me...
ReplyDeleteMy parents hired a BABYSITTER.
It was none other than Brent Heins.
XDDDDD So now I know his point of the story, and currently, sounds like stuff sucks.
